Final Stretch – You Can Make It!

Final Stretch!You have almost made it! We are nearing the end of the semester, and after finishing up your final projects and exams you will have a school-free month to relax and spend more time with your family.

Since you are reviewing everything you’ve learned throughout the semester before your finals, it seemed appropriate to review some of the things we’ve recently blogged about to also help you prepare for finals.

  • Alert your loved ones! Make sure to let your friends and family that you might need extra time for school in the next few weeks, but that you will get to spend more time with them soon!
  • Remember – don’t procrastinate! Set aside the time you need, avoid distractions, and make a list of what you need to do.
  • Don’t get sick! Even though you have less time and more stress, you still need to make sure to eat well, drink lots of water, and get a good night’s sleep!
  • Don’t be nervous! If one of your final projects includes a presentation of some sort, use some of these tips on how to feel less nervous.

Look over these tips to help you prepare for the upcoming stress of finishing classes. And when you are feeling overwhelmed, just take a five-minute break to ponder the month of free time and relaxation after you are done with your classes. This can keep you motivated to get things done.
