Does creativity matter if you’re not in an inherently “creative” field like art or music? While you’re in school, you may not think that building your creative skill set makes a difference in the way of career preparation, however, a survey of college-educated professionals who work across a range of industries from business and education to science and engineering suggests you might want to consider otherwise.
In fact, according to those surveyed, creativity is considered to be vital to career success and economic growth, and more than 8 out of 10 people wish they had more opportunities to hone creative thinking skills as students.
